Steven Cerne is CEO & Co-Founder and is responsible for all business and operational aspects of the business including business development, finance and accounting, laboratory operations and information systems. Cerne has a bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Tennessee and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University with a concentration in Entrepreneurship where he received an Entrepreneur of the Year award. He has consulted to Fortune 500 companies in nearly every industry with a specialty in healthcare and biosciences. He has more than 20 years of business leadership experience with proven ability to turn around financially and operationally troubled companies. He has also led two startups including one in Silicon Valley.
Sherry Bradford is Vice President of Research and Development & Co-Founder and is responsible for developing new products related to the company’s core offering of chemo sensitivity testing. Bradford has a PhD in Biochemistry from the Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Division of SUNY at Buffalo School of Medical and Biomedical Sciences, and 46 years of experience in clinical laboratory science as a generalist and is expert on all facets of the clinical laboratory and the function and mandates of the state and federal licensing authorities. She has been a Supervisor in the various sub specialties of the clinical lab and been Research Lab Director for the SUNY Buffalo Surgical Department.
Arvind Thakur is Vice President of Scientific Affairs & Co-Founder and is responsible for translating product concepts into clinical products as well as making sure all operations adhere to clinical standards. Thakur has a PhD in Biochemistry and has managed many multi-disciplinary projects in cancer research and vaccine development. He has also led several efforts to commercialize vaccine products and holds several patents.
